Rand Sheaves & Pulleys, LLC designs and produces both single and nested sheaves and pulleys for the wire industry, offering catalog‑standard items as well as fully custom configurations. The products are compatible with clean wire, fiber‑optic cable, and insulated wire applications. When fabricated from UHMW polyethylene, the sheaves deliver abrasion, chemical, thermal and impact resistance. For specialized needs, the company provides sheaves made from a broad selection of materials, including aluminum (with hard‑coated anodized or ceramic‑coat finishes), steel, stainless steel, hardened D‑2 tool steel, annealed 4140‑Ht steel, plasma‑nitride steel, as well as polymers such as UHMW, HDPE, nylon, nylatron and delrin.
