Azonic Products, Inc. designs and builds coil‑winding equipment that includes tensioning units, rack‑mount systems for simultaneous winding operations, and wisker disks. Its tensioning units accommodate wire diameters from 16 AWG up to 58 AWG and incorporate self‑compensating brake mechanisms, a compact footprint that allows close placement in multi‑winder configurations, and digital tension monitors that read tension in grams. The wisker disks are engineered to stop wire from waterfalling, ballooning, breaking or becoming tangled during the winding process. These tension devices are applied to a wide range of materials such as wire cloth, wire mesh, fiberglass for weaving, Kevlar®, yarn, nylon, dental floss and numerous other substrates.
