Superior Tube | AMETEK Specialty Metal Products supplies precision tubing produced on a fully integrated tube mill that can manufacture both seamless and welded tubes. The product line covers a broad spectrum of alloys, including stainless steel, nickel, titanium and zirconium. Tubes are engineered for critical‑tolerance applications in highly demanding environments, serving markets such as oil and gas, nuclear power, aerospace, chemical processing and medical devices. Welded and drawn tube diameters are available up to 1 ½ in. (38.1 mm) OD, while seamless offerings range from less than 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) to the same 1 ½ in. (38.1 mm) OD limit. Wall thicknesses can be specified from under 0.002 in. (0.05 mm) to 0.150 in. (3.8 mm). Straight lengths are offered up to 45 ft (14 m), and coiled configurations can extend to 3,000 ft (915 m).
