Hansen Motors supplies stepper motors, DC brush motors and clock movements while also delivering custom motor design and manufacturing services for orders of any size. The company engineers synchronous motors—including hysteresis and PMAC types—as well as clock movements of type D and C, slip‑ring assemblies and chart‑recorder drives. Its stepper motor lineup features digital motion control, precision shaft‑position control, a broad torque range and accurate step‑angle positioning. Custom‑designed brush‑type DC motors are built with low‑cogging armatures, high‑torque magnets and precision die‑cast end bells, and are offered with DC motor encoders and permanent‑magnet DC (PMDC) configurations. Hansen Motors also produces actuators and brake motors under the Whisper Motion™ brand. Target applications span HVAC, medical equipment, appliances, industrial and office automation, point‑of‑purchase displays and solar systems.
