Biochar Now, LLC produces biochar carbon that serves a broad range of sectors, including water treatment, agriculture, lawn and landscape management, oil and gas operations, steel production, mining, automotive, coal‑fired power generation, livestock operations, and construction materials. The material is employed for drought mitigation, contaminant remediation, odor control, and as a bio‑filler in plastics, concrete, asphalt and similar composites. It is effective against hydrocarbons, mercury originating from flue ash, nutrient runoff, algae blooms, emissions from steel manufacturing, various heavy metals and PFAS compounds. The product can be combined with compost or manure and formed into pellets. Feedstock consists of waste wood, treated lumber, railroad ties, painted wood and other discarded wood sources. Customers can select from chip, small, medium or powder particle grades, which are supplied in either cubic‑foot plastic bags or cubic‑yard sacks. The biochar complies with the 2006 ISO standard for greenhouse‑gas accounting and is manufactured domestically in the United States.
