TECA designs and manufactures solid‑state cooling solutions that rely on the Peltier effect. Its product line includes enclosure air conditioners, liquid chillers and cold plates, with cooling capacities ranging from 100 to 2,000 BTU per hour. The units are engineered for operation in demanding and hazardous settings, meeting NEC Class I Division 1 and 2 requirements and conforming to NEMA 12, 4 and 4X enclosures, while tolerating ambient temperatures above 70 °C. Cooling is provided by semiconductor materials rather than CFC refrigerant gases. Selected models have been evaluated against UL standards and carry CE marking.
