Rail Ryder designs and manufactures enclosed trailer loading and unloading systems for automotive applications. Its gate‑extension components are hinged and stow inside the trailer tailgate, while the loading trolleys operate independently and self‑adjust to accommodate any wheelbase. Over‑the‑wheel straps are secured by tension and provide 20 inches of lateral adjustment to fit any tread width; each strap measures 2 inches wide and is rated for 10,000 lb. The ramps are housed in vertical drop‑in pockets located at the rear of the trailer. The system delivers a 4‑degree loading angle on a guided rail track and eliminates any contact with the chassis. Rail Ryder’s loading solution can be retrofitted to any existing trailer, and the company also offers trailers that come equipped with the system pre‑installed.
