Morehouse Instrument Co. designs, manufactures, and calibrates force measurement instruments and related equipment. Its product line comprises load cells, analog and digital ring force gauges, universal calibrating machines, dead‑weight force calibrators, load cell meters, gauges, ring dynamometers, Brinell hardness tester calibrators, proving rings, steel load pads, bearing plates, adaptor plates, plugs, and alignment plugs. The company also builds custom dead‑weight calibration machines capable of generating up to 120,000 lb_f (or the equivalent in newtons or kilogram‑force). In‑house calibration services cover load cells, proving rings, force gauges, traction dynamometers, crane scales, and other force‑measuring devices, offering single‑run calibrations. Calibration operations are accredited by A2LA and comply with ASTM E74, ISO 376, ANSI/NCSL Z540‑1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and MIL‑STD‑45662A. All calibrations are traceable directly to NIST standards.
