Amalga Composites manufactures custom composite components such as pneumatic rollers, cores, drive shafts, booms, masts, fuses, structural elements, pressure‑vessel tubing, tanks, radomes and valves. The parts are fabricated from fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), electrical glass, carbon fiber, aramid and Kevlar® using filament winding, compression molding or resin‑transfer molding processes. In addition to design, engineering and assembly, the company provides secondary operations including beveling, drilling, grinding, sawing, milling, turning and cutting. Both prototype pieces and high‑volume production runs are supported, and the operation can be configured for Kanban manufacturing. Amalga Composites serves the telecommunications, automotive, military, oil and gas sectors and produces all components in the United States.
