The facility employs an extensive portfolio of forging techniques, including closed‑die, coin‑pressed, flat‑die, hollow, impression, infrared, near‑net‑shape, open‑die, mechanical‑press and upset forging, as well as traditional die processes. Core product lines focus on bearings, gears and valves, and the shop can produce both small and large parts to tolerances of ±0.02 in. Beyond forging, Meadville Forging Co. offers shot blasting, cleaning, grinding, heat treating, machining, assembly, engineering support, metallurgical testing and CAD design. Production runs can be scaled from low‑volume prototypes to high‑volume series.
