MISA Metal Fabricating Inc. designs and manufactures custom precision components such as tubing, bars, plates, burners, housings and angles. The operation holds ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification and ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2002 quality certifications. Its production capabilities include carbon‑steel burning of material up to 4.5 in. thick, plasma cutting and beveling at multiple angles on sheets as large as 1 ⅜ in. × 16 ft. × 5 in. × 53 in., and laser cutting of carbon‑steel plates up to 1 in. × 5 ft. × 10 ft. Straight or beveled cuts can be performed on 16 in. × 16 in. steel sections. The shop also provides lathe work on parts up to 2 in. diameter, CNC horizontal machining on workpieces measuring 26 in. × 26 in. and larger envelopes of 40.2 in. × 20 in. × 19.7 in., 45 in. × 2 in. × 35 in., and 62 in. × 30 in. × 30 in., as well as CNC vertical machining on comparable dimensions. Forming and welding services round out the full suite of metal‑fabrication capabilities.
