Solmet Technologies offers custom open‑die and hammer forging services, handling carbon alloys, nickel, high‑temperature alloys, titanium and a range of non‑ferrous materials. The operation can produce squares, rounds and complex shapes weighing up to 3,000 lb and measuring as long as 180 in. In addition to forging, Solmet Technologies conducts heat‑qualification testing, production cutting, and comprehensive metal testing. Inspection capabilities include magnetic‑particle inspection in accordance with AMS 2300 and AMS 2301, Jominy hardenability assessment, tensile testing and impact testing. The facility operates under ISO 9002 certification.
