Bal‑Tec manufactures both standard and custom commercial balls as well as kinematic balls, offering a full range of materials, dimensions and tolerances. The catalogue encompasses approximately 40,000 different size, grade and material combinations. Among the commercial offerings are stainless‑steel, plastic, chrome‑alloy steel and various brittle‑material balls. Its kinematic product line includes balls together with couplings, mounts, truncated blocks and V‑blocks. Customers can have stems or handles affixed to the balls using welding, brazing or adhesive bonding. All products are produced to meet A.F.B.M.A. and applicable military specifications. In addition, Bal‑Tec supplies ball bars, probe‑characterization spheres, C.M.M. pallet systems and other precision measuring equipment.
