Vermont Wireform, Inc. manufactures custom wire‑form components, offering a range that includes safety pins, badge pins, lock pins, press stampings, multislide forms, S hooks, specialty fourslide items, rings and drapery hardware. The fourslide capability handles widths up to 2 in. and lengths to 15 in., processing carbon steel, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, nickel, copper and galvanized wire. Automatic wire forming produces ground points from 0.025 in. to 0.080 in. diameter wire, with a maximum part length of 6 in.; the equipment also accepts wire up to 0.187 in. diameter and lengths as long as 26 in. Strip forming is performed to order. Available surface finishes comprise anodizing, brass plating, cadmium, chromates, chrome, nickel, zinc and zinc chromate.
