Harbor Black Oxide, Inc. applies a black oxide coating to low‑carbon, high‑carbon, alloy and hardened steel. The treatment chemically alters the metal surface, creating a layer that does not chip, flake or peel. As a result, the coated parts gain corrosion resistance and improved lubricity while maintaining original dimensions and without any surface buildup.
