Durable Machinery Co., LLC designs and builds rugged air‑conditioners, HVAC units, and ADA‑compliant bottled‑water coolers engineered for the most demanding industrial, marine, desert and military environments. The equipment tolerates corrosive, dusty or sandy atmospheres, extreme heat up to 131 °F (55 °C), low‑ambient conditions, high humidity and hazardous zones that require explosion‑proof protection. All cabinets are fabricated from 316L stainless steel and feature mechanical controls, while motors are enclosed and equipped with 300‑series stainless‑steel shafts. Condensers and evaporators receive a baked‑on epoxy coating and are fitted with widely spaced fins to prevent dust and sand buildup; internal components benefit from extensive corrosion‑resistant treatments. The patented control system enables the air‑conditioners to maintain cooling performance at ambient temperatures as low as required, without relying on fan‑speed modulation, and the units are rated to operate at 131 °F (55 °C) rather than the typical 95 °F (35 °C) limit. Optional heating options include incoloy tubular heaters for non‑hazardous applications and T3B heating elements for use in hazardous environments. Units can be specified with flame‑proof or explosion‑proof ratings for NEMA 7/9, ATEX Division 1/Zone 1, or Division 2/Zone 2, and the T3B design remains functional even when heat is applied. Configurations are available as through‑the‑wall/window, roof‑mount, or split systems, and T3B explosion‑proof bottled‑water coolers are offered for operation in high‑ambient temperature settings.
