Profiles, a division of NN, Inc., manufactures custom cold‑drawn and cold‑rolled solid metal shapes for a range of precision applications. The product line includes gears, splines, cams, cogs, shafts and other small components, produced from carbon steel, stainless steel, Hastelloy®, Inconel®, copper, bronze, brass, aluminum and additional alloys. Dimensions are offered from 0.125 in. to 0.625 in. in width and 0.040 in. to 0.520 in. in thickness, with a tolerance of ±0.0002 in. The company’s capabilities extend to engineering, tool design and fabrication, heat treating, burnishing, testing, stamping, straightening and cutting. Customers span the automotive, aeronautical, medical, dental, electrical, appliance, sporting‑goods and other sectors. All products are UL listed.
