Armoloy Southeast delivers thin‑dense‑chromium (TDC) low‑temperature metal‑finishing, plating and coating services for a wide array of parts, including aerospace equipment, bearing races, rollers, bushings, compression components, cutting tools, cylinders, die‑cast dies, food‑processing equipment, gauges, gears, sprockets, hydraulic cylinders and rods, machine‑tool components, molds, pump housings, injection screws, threads and valves. The TDC coating conforms to existing scratches, pits and dents instead of filling them, while providing lower wear and friction for moving parts, improved corrosion resistance, and resistance to chipping, cracking or peeling. Surface‑preparation steps and preprocessing are designed to limit hydrogen exposure on the parts. Customers may request pre‑baking, post‑baking, or both, in accordance with their specifications. The coating thickness is controlled between .00005 and .0007 inches per side, delivering both corrosion and heat resistance. Pre‑ and post‑baking processes are certified to AMS‑2438a and QQ‑C‑320B, Class 2 and Type II standards.
