Southern Fiber Inc. produces colored filtration media, tackified filtration media, high‑loft webs and heavy‑weight densified webs. The product portfolio spans weights from roughly 0.25 oz per square foot to about 12 oz per square foot and can be fabricated in widths up to approximately 135 in. Two bonding methods are offered: spray bonding, which applies a PVA binder to both sides of the web to secure the fibers, and low‑melt (thermal) bonding, which integrates a specialty low‑melt fiber into the blend. The filtration media combines multiple fiber sizes to achieve targeted filtration performance and is heat‑sealable. Available colors include white, blue and orange; a web may be single‑colored or feature blue or orange on one side with white on the opposite side, and it can be tackified to enhance dust retention.
