Transworld Plastic Films manufactures custom polyethylene film for a broad range of applications, including tire and tire‑building components, belt production, roofing and flashing, hose fabrication, rubber‑backed carpet and walk‑off mats, rubber printing plates, automotive and highway products, tapes, oilfield items, as well as compounding and calendaring processes. The product line can be blended with additional resins such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE), medium‑density polyethylene (MDPE) and high‑density polyethylene (HDPE). A variety of additives are offered, including anti‑static agents, calcium carbonate, standard industry colors, flame retardants, non‑migratory release agents and talc. Transworld also produces films featuring grit, taffeta, diamond and split‑diamond embossing patterns. Production equipment handles base film thicknesses from .002 in. to .018 in., accommodates a core size of 3 in., and can unwind rolls up to 30 in. in diameter.
