Thermo Sensors Corporation manufactures standard and custom thermocouples, thermowells, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), wiring, and related sensor accessories. Its thermocouple portfolio includes Chromel® Constantan, iron‑constantan, Chromel®‑Alumel, and nicrosil‑nisil types. The thermowell line offers threaded, flanged, socket‑weld, van‑stone, and weld‑in configurations. RTDs are designed for vibration resistance and rapid response, achieved through moisture‑free MgO compaction and an iron‑free backing powder in the sensor tip. Ceramic insulators are supplied to protect base‑metal thermocouple wires, while extension cables feature twisted‑pair conductors wrapped in 100 percent coverage shield tape to minimize magnetic and electronic interference. Multipair extension cables are available in 4 to 28 pairs, using 20‑gauge conductors and outer diameters ranging from 0.350 in. to 0.775 in. Temperature transmitters incorporate monitoring functions that detect wire breaks or short circuits and can adjust the output signal up or down as required. The thermocouples are suitable for use with liquids, corrosive gases, high‑moisture environments, and high‑pressure conditions.
