Thorlabs designs and manufactures integrated photonic products. Its production portfolio spans semiconductor fabrication, fiber‑drawing towers, MBE and MOCVD epitaxial wafer growth reactors, as well as glass and metal machining, thin‑film deposition, and both optomechanical and optoelectronic assembly. The facilities are equipped to draw silica and fluoride‑glass optical fibers and to construct Fabry‑Perot, distributed‑feedback and VCSEL lasers. Thorlabs supplies these capabilities to customers in the research, life‑science, medical and defense sectors.
