The product portfolio spans from large car‑bottom vacuum furnaces capable of handling 50‑ton loads to horizontal mid‑size production furnaces and top‑loading laboratory‑size units, and every model is offered with a custom‑configuration option. A recently introduced high‑efficiency hot‑zone design reduces electric power consumption by as much as 46 percent through enhanced vacuum performance. The furnaces support a variety of heat‑treat processes such as hardening, brazing, stress relieving, normalizing, annealing, tempering and sintering. Key design features incorporate graphite insulation, curved graphite heating elements, tapered gas nozzles, high‑velocity gas quench systems, SolarVac 3000 interactive control systems, ConserVac energy‑management technology and Magnetic Specialties Smart Power Supplies. Solar Manufacturing also provides aftermarket services that include hot‑zone upgrades, energy‑efficiency enhancements, spare‑part supply and full‑service support. Customers use the vacuum furnaces to treat micro‑surgical instruments, aircraft and aerospace components, as well as a broad range of intermediate products.
