Innovative Fabrication, Inc. delivers precision optical alignment, machining, coring and sawing services for a wide array of materials such as glass, ceramic, aluminum, nitride, lithium niobate, sapphire, beryllium oxide, silicon, germanium and gallium arsenide. The equipment achieves X, Y and Z indexing accuracy of ±2.5 microns and theta‑angle repeatability of ±6 arc seconds. Capabilities include machining slots, grooves, bevels, chamfers and V‑grooves, as well as beveling, scribing, trenching, and visual inspection ranging from AQL to 100 % acceptance. The operation also provides manual sorting and loading into chip trays or gel‑paks, along with process‑development and R&D support. Dicing is available for components thicker than one inch, and the company can scale from prototype runs to full production volumes.
