System Components, Inc. designs and manufactures standard and custom flanged, splined‑sleeve, and elastomeric couplings. The flanged product line comprises full‑flex, flex‑rigid, and rigid‑rigid configurations offered in stock sizes ranging from 1‑F to 10‑F for bore diameters up to 14 1/8 in., with the capability to produce custom sizes as large as 30‑F for bores up to 46 in. All flanged couplings are fabricated from 1141 steel, use grade 8 bolts, and are interchangeable across the range. Splined‑sleeve couplings incorporate two hubs equipped with triple‑crowned gear teeth. Elastomeric couplings function as drop‑out element couplings, require no lubrication, provide shock‑load cushioning, damp torsional vibration, and offer electrical insulation; they operate reliably between –49 °F and +230 °F. Typical applications include conveyors, fans, metal‑rolling mills, oil‑well pumps, printing presses, general pumps, textile machinery, and turbine drivers.
