Mocotta Manning Co. manufactures industrial sapphire and monocrystalline alumina as extruded lengths that conform to customer‑specified cross‑sectional shapes and then provides finished machine‑work products. The product portfolio includes rods—both round and polygonal—with diameters ranging from .010 to 1.0 in. and crystal orientations of 0°, 60°, or 90°. Tubular offerings cover round and polygonal tubes whose outer diameters vary between .020 and 1.5 in., bore sizes from .007 to 1.4 in., and are supplied in 0° or 60° orientations. Sheet‑type material is also available, encompassing discs, polygons and cubes with thicknesses from .020 to .750 in., widths from .020 to 3.0 in., and oriented to A‑plane, R‑plane, M‑plane, or C‑plane, with the optical axis positioned 90° to the plane. Custom or special sizes can be produced on request.
