Detroit Nipple Works, Inc. manufactures and distributes a comprehensive range of pipe components, including pipe nipples, tubing, valves, fittings, gaskets, flanges, Y strainers, pipe hangers, backing rings, steam traps and pipe dope. The company processes brass, copper, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, PVC and CPVC. Cutting services are available for all of these materials up to a 24‑inch diameter, and mitre cuts can be made at angles as steep as 70 degrees. Threading capabilities cover every material type, handling diameters up to 12 feet and providing NPT threads from 1/8‑inch to 12‑inch as well as BSPT threads from 1/2‑inch to 6‑inch.
