Bestmetal, a division of PSM Industries, manufactures custom powdered‑metal components for both low‑volume and high‑volume production runs. Presses rated up to 500 tons enable the fabrication of large parts and support new product development initiatives. The shop accepts transferred or inherited tooling supplied by customers. It provides the complete range of powdered‑metal grades and alloys, including magnetic irons, carbon steel, high‑strength alloy steels, austenitic and martensitic stainless steels, as well as pure copper and copper‑based alloys such as bronze and brass. All products are produced to engineering drawings and specific customer requirements. Engineering assistance encompasses CAD design, CNC and in‑house machining, heat treatment, steam treatment, resin impregnation, drilling, tapping, turning, deburring and plating. Bestmetal serves a wide spectrum of markets, including agricultural, automotive aftermarket, electromagnetic, food‑service, fluid power, lawn‑and‑garden, marine, material handling, power transmission, recreational and structural applications.
