Andress Engineering Associates, Inc. designs and builds standard, repowered, and process locomotives for plant‑switching, short‑line, and light‑rail applications, as well as diesel locomotives that span 70 to 210 tons and deliver 450 to 4,000 hp. All repowered units are equipped with EPA‑approved engines and operate under PLC‑based microprocessor controls linked to graphics‑enabled computer interfaces.
