Varland Plating delivers precision barrel‑plated finishes using fully automated lines that incorporate the latest technology. The company applies barrel plating to a range of substrates, including steel, stainless steel, copper, phosphorus bronze and brass. Offered finishes encompass electrolytic nickel, electroless nickel, satin nickel, zinc‑nickel, zinc‑iron, tin‑zinc, clear‑coated zinc, yellow, black trivalent chromate, green dye, copper, bright tin, matte tin, cadmium, antique brass, bright brass and statuary bronze. Parts are baked to eliminate hydrogen embrittlement, and an inert‑gas oven is used to harden electroless nickel coatings. Coating thickness is verified by X‑ray inspection, and corrosion resistance is evaluated with in‑house salt‑spray testing. Varland Plating holds ISO 9001:2008 certification, is ITAR registered, complies with ASTM and AIAG CQI‑11 standards, and meets RoHS, WEE and ELV requirements.
