Spectec designs and manufactures both standard and custom sensors for the aerospace, automotive, construction, marine, mining, oil‑field, and railroad sectors. Its product line comprises variable‑reluctance, RF eddy‑current and Hall‑effect zero‑speed sensors, together with temperature devices such as RTDs, NTC thermistors and thermocouples. For hazardous locations, Spectec offers intrinsically safe, explosion‑proof and flame‑proof versions of its sensors. The company also supplies complementary hardware, including amplifiers, safety barriers, connectors, junction boxes, power supplies and scalers. Production is guided by lean‑manufacturing practices and all items are fabricated in the United States.
