Xcel Steel Fabricating, Inc. produces structural and plate steel weldments for tool and die shops, machine‑tool manufacturers, and the farm and construction equipment sectors, handling assemblies that can weigh as much as 20 tons. The shop’s welding capability extends to flux‑core wire up to 1/8 inch in diameter, allowing the fabrication of components with a maximum weight of 40,000 pounds. Operations are housed in a 43,000‑square‑foot plant that includes a steel‑shot blast booth measuring 12 feet wide, 22 feet in diameter and 10 feet high, as well as a stress‑relieving oven rated to 1,300 °F with dimensions of 9 feet wide, 24 feet in diameter and 9 feet high. Production is supported by CAD/CAM‑driven burning machines, and the facility also offers full machining, grinding, painting, and delivery services.
