AltaMAR Laser - NY delivers comprehensive laser machining solutions, encompassing 3‑D laser cutting and welding as well as 5‑axis laser cutting and welding. The shop’s capabilities extend to precision laser cutting of small tubes, raw square and rectangular tubing up to 24 ft in length, and round tubing ranging from 0.08 in. to 1 in. diameter. It can generate a variety of shapes and features, including fishmouth profiles, angle cuts, notched ends, corner notching, hermetic welds, spot welds, and complete precision assemblies. For industrial applications, AltaMAR Laser - NY handles flat patterns and formed parts with a maximum workpiece size of 39 in. × 26 in., maintaining dimensional accuracy to .002 in. The facility processes round and rectangular tubes, painted electrical boxes, as well as plastics and composite materials, and provides engineering support for complex tooling designs. Customers can obtain parts and products in both prototype quantities and high‑volume production runs, ensuring flexibility across project scales.
