Imperial Microspheres produces uniform spherical polymeric microspheres that serve as functional additives across plastics, paints, coatings, inks, and cosmetics. The portfolio comprises polymethyl‑methacrylate (PMMA) acrylic, silicone, silica, butyl, MMA‑styrene, and polyethylene wax particles. These microspheres can be incorporated into a range of carriers, including polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, polystyrene, ethylene‑vinyl acetate, solvents, water‑based systems, lacquers, powders, inks, and topcoats. Key performance attributes include tight particle‑size control, high optical clarity, resistance to heat, chemicals and scratching, printable surface texture, and the ability to produce clear topcoats for laminates, construction materials, as well as tactile and matting effects. The products are compatible with extrusion, blown‑film, and injection‑molding processes. Imperial Microspheres also offers FDA‑ and EU/EFSA‑approved grades for regulated applications.
