Micron Laser Technology, Inc. delivers ITAR‑approved laser cutting solutions to customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, automotive and electronics sectors. The firm supports microvia (uVia) formation, precision routing, skiving and micromachining across a broad range of substrates. Rigid and flexible printed‑circuit‑board dielectrics such as Kapton®, polyimide, FR‑4, Isola, Getek, Nelco, Hitachi, Rogers, Gore, RCC, LCP, ceramics, soldermask, speedboard, epoxy, polyester, Mylar®, Duroid®, acrylics, BT resins, Ultralam, PEEK®, PTFE, FEP and BCB are processed with laser techniques. In addition, the same laser systems can ablate metals and alloys—including aluminum, copper, gold, silver, titanium, molybdenum, stainless steel, nickel, steel, platinum, tungsten—as well as composites, plastics, ceramic and foam materials. Micron Laser Technology operates more than twenty laser tools covering wavelengths of 266 nm, 352 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm, 1064 nm, 9.3 µm, 9.4 µm and 10.6 µm, and maintains a positional accuracy of ±0.0005 in and a dimensional tolerance of ±0.001 in.
