Pittsburgh Foundry & Machine Co. manufactures green‑sand and no‑bake castings and expands its portfolio with centrifugal, investment, and continuous‑cast bronze and iron bar castings. The facility produces a wide range of alloys, including grey iron, ductile iron, white iron, NiHard, high‑chrome, heat‑resistant alloys, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, copper, and additional specialty castings. Its service offering covers forgings—open‑die, closed‑die, and forged rolled rings—as well as comprehensive machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, EDM, key cutting, welding, cutting, and forming. Pittsburgh Foundry & Machine Co. also provides pattern making and repair, heat‑treating processes (hardening, normalizing, stress relief, quenching and tempering, austempering, annealing, among others), CAD support, rapid prototyping, inspection, and a variety of coating options including painting, powder coating, electroplating, anodizing, black oxide, etc. The shop is equipped to produce single‑piece items or large production runs, handling pours from one pound upward. Its customer base spans power generation, steel, railroad, mining and agriculture, custom machinery, pumps and compressors, architectural and fireplace decorative castings, residential furnaces, machine‑tool components, oil‑field equipment, highway equipment, nuclear applications, and numerous other sectors.
