Phymet, Inc. develops and manufactures MicroPoly lubricants, a proprietary blend of polymers, oils and selected additives that can be formulated to meet the exact requirements of any lubricating system. Through a unique processing method, the material is transformed into a solid lubricant featuring an oil‑filled porous matrix. Capillary action draws the embedded oil to the surface of the MicroPoly, where it transfers to any contacting part, delivering continuous lubrication. Because the structure also functions as a sponge, surplus oil is re‑absorbed, eliminating drip‑off. The product can be introduced directly into bearings, cast into custom shapes, or fabricated into a range of solid profiles. Phymet offers NSF‑registered formulations that are approved for food and beverage environments.
