S. A. Platt, Inc. designs and manufactures coilers and coil‑winding equipment while also producing coiled resistance wire in a broad range of formats. The product line includes round, flat (ribbon), square, twisted and coated wire, as well as silver conductors and light‑gauge spring wire. Coiling capacity spans from 8‑gauge to 40‑gauge wire, with finished coil outer diameters beginning at 0.040 in. and larger. Customers can specify single‑wire coils, twin (double) coils, or triple‑wire configurations.
