Permalac, a division of Peacock Labs, produces solvent‑based clearcoats in both single‑component and dual‑component formulations, along with compatible thinners, tints, and flattening agents. The clearcoats are suitable for application on a variety of substrates—bare, pre‑treated, rusted, or previously painted metal, wood, and stone. Users may apply the coatings by spraying or brushing, and removal is achievable with lacquer thinner or acetone. The ancillary thinners, tints, and flattening agents are intended to adjust the performance and appearance of the base coatings.
