Schaefer Screw Products Co. supplies custom‑manufactured screw machine fittings for the gas‑valve, plumbing, refrigeration, transportation, beverage and hydraulic sectors and holds ISO 9001:2000 certification. The product portfolio spans straight and extruded bar‑stock fittings, flared and pipe fittings, compression and garden‑hose fittings, as well as a full range of 90‑degree and 45‑degree extruded elbows, tees and swivels. Machining capability covers bar stock diameters from 3/16 in. up to 5 in. and lengths up to 14 in., with dimensional tolerances as tight as ±0.0003 in. Finishing options comprise plating, centerless grinding, thermal deburring and polishing. Schaefer can produce both short‑run prototype batches and high‑volume production runs, and it is equipped to fabricate custom‑designed fittings directly from engineering prints. The company’s process suite includes CNC machining, broaching, milling, tapping, fabricating, slotting, knurling, crimping, cross‑drilling, threading and stamping, enabling a comprehensive approach to part development and delivery.
