Microfabrica, Inc. designs and produces ultra‑high‑precision components, sub‑assemblies and three‑dimensional micro‑machines for customers requiring exacting specifications. The operation holds ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications and employs a proprietary hybrid technique that combines elements of stereolithography with electrochemical deposition, allowing anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand devices to be fabricated on a single ceramic wafer. Production capabilities include dimensional tolerances of ±2 microns and the integration of embedded features such as vias, ports, pockets and counterbores. The process also supports the creation of intricate mechanisms that function without additional assembly, the application of textured surface finishes, and the incorporation of part numbers and logos directly into the parts. Materials used comprise the company’s own nickel‑cobalt alloys together with rhodium and palladium.
