Melles Griot Laser Group designs and manufactures internal‑mirror, air‑cooled argon and krypton ion lasers that provide discrete and multiple wavelength outputs ranging from 454 nm to the near‑infrared region, with output powers up to 500 mW. The company also offers helium‑cadmium lasers—both Omnichrome and LiCONix models—with polarized emissions at 325 nm (UV) and 442 nm (blue). In addition, it supplies helium‑neon lasers covering green, yellow, orange, red, and near‑infrared wavelengths, delivering up to 40 mW of power. Diode‑pumped solid‑state lasers are part of the product portfolio as well. These laser sources are employed across a broad spectrum of applications, including biotechnology, analytical instrumentation, semiconductor inspection and alignment, particle measurement, machine‑tool inspection, holography, image recording, laser printing, optical inspection, metrology, interferometry, spectroscopy, barcode scanning, alignment tasks, and stereo lithography.
