Fibertec, Inc. manufactures ISO 9001:2008 certified fillers and reinforcements for the plastics, friction, gasket, coating, adhesive, sealant and paint markets. The portfolio includes milled glass and wollastonite fibers supplied in a variety of lengths to boost the mechanical performance of polymer compounds, as well as wollastonite powders and filler grades for plastics, coatings and paints. Muscovite mica platelets are offered to reinforce large, thin composites and to control wrap‑and‑shrink behavior, with additional applications in barrier coatings. Mineral wool grades are designed for friction products and are also employed in gaskets, adhesives and sealants. All products can be provided with standard or customer‑specific surface treatments and packaging. Fibertec further delivers milling, screening and surface‑treatment services for the plastics and coatings sectors, and it offers tolling capabilities—including blending, milling, screening and surface treatment—to satisfy custom specifications.
