Hydro Quip, Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures high‑efficiency oil‑water separators for both above‑ground and below‑ground installations. The product line complies with API and EN858‑1 performance standards, and pretreatment separators are capable of removing all free, dispersed (non‑emulsified) oil and settleable solids to produce an effluent that satisfies the most stringent requirements. Depending on the application, a range of coalescing media can be employed to achieve oil concentrations of 5 ppm or lower. The company also offers inclined‑plate clarifiers and clarification separators. Turn‑key wash rack systems, fluid‑reclaim and recycling systems, and environmental consulting services are available as part of the portfolio. Typical applications include spill containment, storm‑water runoff management, vehicle and equipment washing, vehicle‑maintenance facilities, groundwater remediation, Superfund sites, solids removal, process water treatment and frac‑water handling.
