Company record
Associated Wear Coatings, Inc. offers a full‑service thermal spray operation complemented by machining and grinding capabilities. The facility can apply virtually all standard thermal spray processes, including plasma spraying, high‑velocity oxygen‑fuel (HVOF), metallizing, and spray‑and‑fuse techniques. For plasma applications, the material portfolio comprises chrome oxide, aluminum oxide, chromium carbide, yttria‑stabilized zirconia, and alumina‑titania blends. Typical HVOF deposits feature tungsten carbide, Inconel® 718 and 625, Hastelloy® C, Monel®, chromium carbide, and 316 stainless steel. Spray‑and‑fuse operations use feedstocks such as Monel® 400, Inconel® 600, Nichrome®, and essentially any carbon‑steel alloy component. Standard coating thicknesses are around 0.025 in., while geometries and material selections allow builds up to 1/8 in. when required.
