Alcumet Inc. is a custom manufacturer of investment, permanent‑mold and rapid‑prototype castings, certified to ISO 9002 and AS 9100 standards. The company works with both ferrous and non‑ferrous alloys, including aluminum, copper, beryllium copper and stainless steel, and serves aerospace, aircraft, commercial, industrial, communications, electronics, government, medical‑hardware, military and munitions markets. Its capabilities span low‑ and high‑volume production of aerospace‑grade investment and prototype castings, as well as the design and fabrication of injection molds derived from prototype drawings. Mold machining is performed using CAD/CAM software and CNC equipment. Alcumet offers a range of post‑casting operations such as sawing, grinding, deburring and hand‑grinding, followed by surface treatments that include sand‑blasting, steel‑shot, wheel‑abrade, glass‑bead and vibratory finishes. The firm can meet MIL‑Specs and employs X‑ray inspection when subsurface defect detection is required. Additional value‑added services comprise plating, coating, painting and final assembly. The company's quality management system is also SGS‑certified.
