Terronics Development Corporation designs and builds custom electrostatic applicator systems, including oilers, sprayers, powder applicators, and precision brush feeders. Its electrostatic oilers are used to oil steel strip for rust protection, lubrication or stamping and can handle any non‑water based fluid with viscosities ranging from 1 to 2,000 cps. The oilers operate at line speeds of up to 4,000 ft/min and accommodate coil widths between 6 in. and 84 in. The company’s electrostatic sprayers feature electrohydrodynamic (EHD) atomization nozzles available in single‑dart and linear formats, offered in 3‑in. and 6‑in. widths. These sprayers are capable of processing a broad spectrum of coating materials such as pigmented solutions, pesticides, polymers, lubricants, corrosion‑protective oils, adhesives, hot melts, pharmaceuticals, precursor solutions, sol‑gels, organic and epoxy coatings. Terronics also supplies electrostatic powder applicators that deposit fine powders onto two‑dimensional continuous substrates for sectors that include steel, paper, cosmetics, rubber, electronics, agriculture, medical and food processing.
