American Durafilm Company, Inc. distributes and fabricates PTFE, PFA and FEP films together with heat‑shrinkable roll covers, and also provides custom‑manufactured components such as funnels, lens covers, diaphragms, gasket covers, endless belts, bags, mold and vessel liners, dielectric shields, electrical insulation coatings, heater circuits, foils and self‑lubricating bearing retainers. These products are produced from a range of high‑performance polymers, including PTFE, FEP, PFA, Tefzel®, Tedlar®, and Kapton® film. The firm’s manufacturing capabilities encompass molding, prototyping, slitting and rewinding, laminating, heat‑sealing, thermoforming, shrinking and bonding operations. In addition, it offers coating services using materials such as Kynar®, Dykor®, Emralon®, Xylan®, Xylex®, Xylar®, PEEK®, Victrex®, Ultralon®, PTFE and PVDF. American Durafilm’s production floor is equipped with batch ovens that can accommodate parts up to 6 ft × 6 ft × 9 ft and handle loads of up to 6,000 lb. The company also provides engineering support and consulting services, and its processes comply with MIL‑45208 A standards.
