Purdy manufactures aerospace components, specializing in aircraft gears and gearbox housings for helicopters and other aircraft, and provides full‑scale assembly, testing, repair and overhaul services. The product portfolio includes precision gears and pinions, bevel gears, ground gears, spiral bevel gears, spur gears, hypoid gears, and curvic ground‑generated gears. All processes are supported by an integrated in‑house suite that features multi‑axis CNC machining, statistical process control, a CAD/CAM center, computerized testing, advanced metal testing and analysis, non‑destructive inspection, and a dedicated heat‑treatment and metallurgy laboratory. Purdy’s repair and overhaul capabilities are authorized by the FAA, and the operation conforms to AGMA 14 and MIL‑Q‑9858A standards.
