Company record
General Inspection, LLC designs and builds high‑speed inspection systems for ammunition, aerospace and automotive fasteners, turned components, bearings, battery cans, and other high‑volume parts. Its platforms integrate laser, vision, eddy‑current and additional 3D inspection technologies. The Gi‑6v ammunition inspection system, a flagship offering, surpasses Mil‑Std‑636 requirements for dimensional measurement and visual defect detection across small‑caliber, medium‑caliber rounds and related components. VisionLab delivers a non‑contact 3D gauging capability that accelerates first‑part checks, statistical process control sampling and final audits, and can generate complete part layouts in under five seconds. VisionDome provides a high‑speed, multi‑camera inspection line for roller bearings, delivering shadow‑free imaging that reveals minute porosity, burn marks, chatter, cracks and also records annealing positions. Together, these systems enable rapid, accurate quality verification for demanding production environments.
